Hey y’all, and thanks for being patient with me. Last year, I attempted to publish a novel through here and it just didn’t work. I think the serialized nature wasn’t a good fit for Substack. Also I realized that Substack didn't really align with who I am. So let’s try some new stuff!

I’m relaunching this feed to highlight more of my short writing. It's primarily going to be a blog! A BLOG! Read my blog!

I’m going to be publishing new and vintage articles and essays, many of which will go on my free feed. Once or twice a month, I’ll be publishing a brand-new short story for my paid subscribers. Brand-new! Never published! Thrilling and strange! Get you some Kevin Quigley Short Fiction!

In addition, some of my articles will be going up in the paid feed, and I’ll also publish some of my current novel’s work in progress. So if you want to keep up with my writing, this is the best way to do it.

Another little caveat here: I’ve dropped Facebook and Instagram and now Substack. Let's hope Ghost doesn't allow Nazis. Social media has become a lot less welcoming lately, and this feels like a good place to shift. I have BlueSky, but I know I’ll want to write longer-form stuff here. More than Facebook, less than LiveJournal. Man, I wrote some NOVELS back in LJ days.
